I am editing my original 2 star review. Initially, I had posted two stars because I was given a “30-day notice” that my rent would be changing, except the notice was only given 19 days before the change. After posting my review, I was contacted by a manager who resolved the situation. I am leaving 4 stars because the issue was resolved appropriately; however, fixing the error should have happened when I initially contacted support, not only after a bad review. Thank you Storsafe Palm Shores for resolving this matter!

Beware this place has rats! I’m trying to get a hold of a person/manager but I keep getting out of country help. Who just brush over the subject and get nothing done. I have called and emailed and nothing! I don’t even want to touch my items. There are even dead rats in my unit. So much for pest control that we pay for!!

DO NOT RENT HERE!! This place used to be great until the owner sold the palm shores location and went corporate. Maybe all locations are corporate at this point? When we first signed up last year there were people working in the office and they had a manager on site. Customer service was great and the units were priced fairly. After they sold and went corporate there are no people on site; not even in the office. You basically try and sign into a tablet to reach someone in the "office". And goodluck trying to call and speak to someone. You have to leave a message and maybe someone will call you back. They now raise their unit prices every 3-6 months no matter what. We received a letter in the mail that said our pricing was going to go up by over $150 a month! The letter said that it was due to rising operations costs. Yet they fired everyone in the office at the location and have no site manager. You can call in and argue this pricing increase each 3 months or so and they may reduce the increase by 50%...maybe. Such a scam. My husband is also renting a unit for business and sure enough, they are raising his rates every few months or so by $75-$150 per month. That is a ridiculous predatory increase. They are banking on the fact that you move all your stuff and cannot or are not willing to move it out. If you call to complain, leave a VM and they happen to call you back, they will reduce the "increase" somewhat and then they raise it again anyways due to "the market" in a few months. The CS rep on the phone said it was market increases, yet the letter said operational costs. It's all a scam and this is just bad business. I would understand increases each year up to $15 or so per month, but hundreds of dollars per month increases a few months after moving is a scam. Will be reporting to BBB. Also BTW the good reviews for this location are from before the sell out. Read the newer ones. Give your money to locally owned family storage and everyone will be better off.

Was never made aware when there was a clear known issue of rats having infested the unit as well as all neighboring ones. No management to get ahold of, all AI ran, and they are doing nothing to correct the issue. Considers themselves to be climate controlled, the doors have 3 inch gaps under them which doesn't protect from bugs/rodents, as well as my items were molded and disgusting due to inclement climate control and I had to constantly keep buying damp-rid containers and refilling them constantly. Extremely disappointed in this facility as it used to be great and have known others to use the facility over the last few years until the management changed recently and everything turned to AI. Customer service states "nothing they can do" and offered to move me to another unit in the next hall, to which more rat droppings and signs were still prevalent and all over the hall floors. Basically all of my belongings were completely ruined, just ridiculous. Then they had the audacity to message me telling me my unit is overdue when I've been moved out and gave them weeks ahead of time notice. Overall disgusted and will be seeking out further resources. ALSO the rates kept being raised due to "ongoing updates" to the facility, I'd love to know what was updated. Because not only was nothing properly maintained, but there's also constant nails, screws, and trash all throughout the facilities when you drive through.
