Store-It-Storage

I've been renting a unit here for about 6-8 months after relocating from Gainesville, Fl. I also take advantage of the Uhaul vehicles they rent. Donna, the site owner/manager has shown me great courtesy in matters pertaining to any rentals. I find the prices for their storage units to be less than that in the Gainesville area. I highly recommend that you consider this storage site for either your storage or Uhaul needs.

I bought two units at auction. I paid my cash and an employee opened both units and left. I then compared the photos on the auction to what I saw in front of me to make sure they match. That is when I noticed numerous items missing and moved around in both units. Some examples from unit 60 include the chainsaw clearly seen on the table was gone. There were fewer fishing poles. And most of the small items in the back had been moved around. Some examples from unit 75 include the yellow generator was gone. The black plastic plano case was gone. The white PS3 controller was gone. And lots of items/boxes had been moved around. I told the lady that I originally paid about my concerns. She went to call her manager and came back a few minutes later with an answer of "the maintenance person took a few items out of the units because they looked like they didn't work and he was going to test them and work on them. He could bring the items back tomorrow." That was a horrible excuse and I explained that was not an acceptable solution and she then summoned her manger. The manager showed up with the generator, fishing poles, and chain saw that I originally mentioned to them. She assured me those where the only items taken out of the units. I confronted her about the black plastic Plano case that was missing and she said it was probably the box that was cracked when they stood on it. Also a horrible excuse, why would anyone stand on a box that was at the top of a pile of boxes. I also confronted her about the white PS3 controller that was missing from a plastic tote that was still there. She sent someone to the office and then it was also brought back to the unit. She again assured me that nothing else was taken. I told her that those were the items I noticed in the photos, but that since everything else had been gone through there was probably numerous other items of value missing that I would not know about. She offered to refund me $100 but that was not worth it since I paid so much. Fortunately she refunded all of my cash that I paid on scene. All of this doesn't account for the two hours I wasted and about $20 in gas since I have a big truck and utility trailer and live so far away. I will be filing a complaint with the corporate office of the facility since all of the on site employees seemed to not care too much. Very shady- I would not recommend buying any units from auction at this facility.

I was in a pinch, big time! Thank goodness store it storage with being an official U-Haul dealer, I needed a vehicle hauler trailer. They were kind, professional, helpful and educational! Very reasonable prices and I'm going to definitely be a repeat customer for my U-Haul needs or storage! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! THANKS FOR THE TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU GAVE TO ME AND MY WIFE! We have rented storage units here for 2 years and could not be happier. Donna and Lexis are always more than helpful, and the facility is immaculate, safe and well managed. Simply the best, worth a drive just to have such a fine place to store items.

Donna and Lexie are amazing. They provide excellent customer service. Over the last 6 months I rented two units and never had a problem with accessing units, cleanliness, water or pests. The facility is safe and they have security cameras. The company does not demand you buy one of their padlocks which also saves money. The best thing about renting here instead of somewhere else in town, is how Donna and Lexie go the extra mile to be helpful. They sincerely care about their customers. I also rented a U-Haul from Donna and she even made the experience pleasant and even fun!
