I sent proof in may 12, 2024 at 12:27pm and called Monday may 13th and spoke to Margret to terminate my storage unit and I was assured it would be done and my deposit refunded. In the 25th I received a message my payment would be deducted on the 1st. I called immediately to find out why since all the information was previously sent and confirmed on the 12th and 13th. Margret, the manager she said, called me back; hung up on me twice. Only took my name and was beyond rude while I was only trying to confirm this time it was in fact terminated and my deposit would be set this time. She was just so rude, dismissive and only took my name, I asked if she needed more info like the unit number to be sure it was done this time and she hung up on me. I will never use them again and would never recommend them! The service is horrible and the call was pure nasty, they didn’t cancel as said on the 13th. I did everything they asked and was treated horribly for no reason. If you clear out early there is no refund for the days not used. You pay the whole month regardless of clear out date. So don’t clear out early… take your time. Find a different storage supplier! Updated: May 27, 2024 I received a text and email that my move out date is the 27th and I would not be receiving my $50 deposit with no explanation as to why they are keeping my deposit. Very bad business ethics! UPDATED: on may 28th I called the service number to find out why I wasn’t receiving my deposit back, I was assured that as a COURTESY Margret would refund my $50 deposit. Per policy I am to receive my deposit back, not as a courtesy. Today May 29th I received $30 of my $50 deposit. So much for a policy or a courtesy. They still choose to remain dishonest. I would never rent a unit from this place again. Beware! Drive further, whatever you need to do. Don’t go thru what I have! UPDATE: THE OWNER CONTACTED ME TO UNDERSTAND WHERE THE BREAK DOWN OCCURRED A D TAKE MEASURES SO THIS DIDN’T HAPPEN TO FUTURE CUSTOMERS. I explained my side and take on the situation and he listened. He refunded the remainder of my deposit and assured me that the situation would be addressed with the management team and call center.
Everybody there was so patient with me :-) sometimes we have been a storage unit because life is going bananas! They helped me figure things out! They gave me a safe place for me to keep my things. It was high and dry! Like when I was moving in all the sudden this crazy storm showed up and I pulled down the storage unit door. It kept everything out! It was crazy but hey my stuff and I were safe. It's quiet also :-) and close to everything in the area :-) If you want to work with the company who treats you like family and friends, Rick storage is it! Trust me :-)
Rick’s Storage made an already difficult day into a much much easier day! The unit was clean and ready, easy (I mean VERY easy) to get to and unload. The staff, especially Alex, are wonderful and attentive. Need storage space? Call Rick’s and make the job sooo much easier!
Love doing business with Alex! He was very nice and patient over the phone while setting up an account..Whole experience was really fast and efficient! Clean secure units as well.
Clean well kept facility with lots of security cameras. Staff is great to work with and calls back quickly even with the smallest inquiry. Online app easy to use for billing.
