My mom had a unit for 7 years only to find most everything was chewed up by rats. She had to throw most of it away. She was never told about needing insurance, furthermore, if you read the insurance policy it doesn’t cover rat damage. There shouldn’t be a rat infestation in a center air conditioned unit. Disgusting and was offered no help. Thanks for taking her money for 7 years guys, well done!
