Airport Self Storage

Have used Airport storage for months now. Easy access to units and right off the 267. Brian is always so helpful and easy to work with. I recommend coming here if you need storage in Truckee.

They were great from my first phone call to my check out when we moved our stuff out. No problems at all always helpful and safe and clean. Great to have my stuff there.

I needed a storage unit on short notice. The telephone support associate, Elizabeth G. was fantastic in providing accurate, timely information on pricing, and availability and accurately answered all my various additional questions. Then she patiently shepherded me through the somewhat complicated online storage signup process. She did all this with the telephone equivalent of a big smile. The storage company is lucky to have such a very high quality, patient telephone associate. zIn addition, the pricing, location and reviews for this storage company were all good. Finally the onsite manager, Brian promptly called me back to confirm essential rental terms. Overall a very good experience.

Airport Self Storage was super helpful when we needed to transition into living together after we got married. We eventually were able to consolidate some things and weren't using it enough so we closed our unit, but the customer service was always super helpful and very convenient location/access.

The units and facilities are clean and well maintained in the winter. Brian is helpful. However those are the only two positives. They repeatedly increased my rate by 26% twice over the past 2 years. Those rates were far above their market rate and I had to call back repeatedly to get them to lower it. The woman who works in the office is not helpful, does not return calls as promised, and never followed up on my repeated requests to get my rates back down. There are cheaper alternatives in town. Use them instead.
